Profit from social networking websites

by Tyler RN Neill

We are in business to make money, it’s as simple as that. We have a product that we know can make us money, or we have a service that we know people need. We could have the best looking website on the internet, but if people cannot find the website, then we have problems. Thats why we need to advertise our business, and promote the life out of it, if we want to succeed and make money.

So now you have your website online, you have a good product or service available that you know will make you money. Now you need customers/traffic. There are various ways to do this, one being PPC or you could pay serious money to a good SEO company to do the job for you. But, there are also other ways of doing this, that cost’s very little or in many cases, nothing at all.

Do you know what Twitter is? If not, you should – it’s one of the hottest web 2.0 things going right now! Twitter is a website that enables you to send out little “micro-blogs” of 140 characters or less to anyone that’s following you (that’s like friends in Facebook). You can let people know what you’re doing at any time, and this can be pretty cool. These messages can be business or personal, and should be both.

For you internet marketers, obviously you’re going to want some of your “tweets” to be concerning your business. For example, if you post a new Squidoo lens, tweet it. If you learn about a cool new website, let your followers know.

On the other hand, make sure that you don’t post only business type of posts. If you do, your followers are just going to think you’re pitching them and they either won’t pay attention to what you’re saying, or they’ll “unfollow” you. That’s what social networking, or web 2.0 is all about – being social. Even if you’re totally focused on your business and you don’t do much else, you need to find something, anything, to talk about.

Here’s how you can Learn To Make Money Online

by Abigail Hansen

So often I come across websites that claim they can teach you to make money online for free. Most people although skeptical, will follow the advice on the site because they are desperate to find answers.

Is it really possible to learn to make money online for free? I don’t think so. If you had spent time and effort to find a way to make real money, would you tell the rest of the world how to do it? All you would be doing is to create competition and shrink your own earnings

No one that is actually making real money online would want to give up their secrets for free. It is already a very competitive market, and everyone has to develop their own methods and find their own niches to actually make it in the industry.

Some people who are successful in the online world are willing to impart their knowledge to learners, but they will charge a high price. Individual coaching can cost thousands of dollars and there is never a guarantee of success, indeed there is often no success at all.

If your goal is to achieve success as an internet marketer, then you are definitely going to have to stand out from the crowd….and let me tell you, that crowd is actually a multitude!

Literally thousands of people are selling the very same product and information as you are. How are you going to get people motivated to follow you instead of all those others? One very powerful way, is by branding yourself.

Webster’s dictionary states that a ‘brand’ is a mark made by a hot iron, a trademark or a mark of infamy. No doubt you are familiar with the process that takes place in branding an animal. This is done so that the animal is permanently identified with it’s owner. Here’s the good news….we don’t have to go to that extreme to brand ourselves! However, we do have to take some type of action to permanently identify ourselves from the hordes of other people around us. I have to tell you that this is going to take a lot longer than branding an animal, but it will be well worth your time.

Where Do You Think Being Narrow-Minded Will Get You?

by Richard Guzman

Network Marketers and home based businesses are using attraction marketing to generate a huge number of high quality leads. What is attraction marketing? Attraction marketing means your prospects come to you because they believe what you are offering is valuable. The traditional way of thinking is the network marketer is the pursuer. However, it is the exact opposite in attraction marketing….you do not chase anyone and it is free. Don’t you think attraction marketing is a much more attractive way for network marketers to do business? The way I see it you won’t be a nuisance and a nag to friends and family…and you won’t be calling people who have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Generating Free Leads through Social Networking

by Jan Shimano

Right now, most successful internet marketers are involved at some level, with social networking. The emphasis here is on the word ‘networking’. These sites are not platforms for you to blatantly promote your product or opportunity. The general idea is to interact with others, getting to know them, exchanging ideas and knowledge and then eventually being in a position to share information about your business with them.

Every day new social networking sites are being created. However, right now the most popular are Twitter, Facebook and MySpace. A new up-and-coming site is BetterNetworker. The people behind this site are Mike Dillard and Perry Belcher. It is my prediction that by this time next year, BetterNetworker will be receiving a very large piece of the social networking pie.

TWITTER — This is a free social networking and micro-blogging service. It allows it’s users to send and read other users updates. These are called ‘tweets’. They are only in text form and you are limited to 140 characters in length per post. This can challenge your copywriting skills. You can connect Twitter and Facebook to enable you to post your ‘tweets’ on your Facebook page also.
