On Wednesday, Nov 16th, 2011 Crave Mall of America location hosted a TweetUp for GiveMN.org as they launched their yearly Give To The Max Day fundraiser.

GiveMN.org hosted the fundraiser from rotunda area at the Mall of America, so they were looking to collaborate with a diner inside the MOA to host the TweetUp. Considering that our Crave Cares Programhighlights and supports local charities, it was obvious we might make good partners.

We worked closely with the people from the Mall of America and Jeff Achen from GiveMN. They were both completely superb people who brought great energy and experience to the event. We had a join-up on Eventbright that capped the event to 100 folks. Our Crave MOA location provided the entire patio space, together with a free drink, free food, and a live Twitter feed on a big screen.

I heard the saying “the silent tweetment” on a late night podcast programme I was tuned into to last week. The DJ mentioned his Twitter address and informed listeners, basically, to speak with him.
