How Do I Use Twitter

by Kenneth Olenderson

Twitter is a website that allows you to interact with different people around the globe. Twitter is like my space but instead of talking to one person youre talking to everyone you have in your followings category. Twitter is a place where you can meet new people and learn new things. Twitter is kind of like blogging in a way.

Twitter was originally designed for interacting with family and friends but it later grew to a micro-blogging network that allowed you to promote websites and several other products. Twitter quickly became a new trend and people were hooked. Twitter today is known throughout the world and it continues to grow every day.

As twitter began to emerge from the internet globe people became skeptical because blogging at 140 characters seemed to be preposterous. By the years end Twitter became the new trend and it was spreading like the black plague across the world.

As twitter hit the globe like a wild fire people started to use twitter as a type of advertising tool and soon enough marketers hit twitter like there was no tomorrow. Bloggers started to join their blogging networks with twitter and before you know it politicians and actors also started to join twitter.

To start your own twitter page you can go to the web site and click sign up. Information that is required from you is your name and email address. You will also have to create a password that you can remember. Optional information like your cell phone is your choice to put in.

After you have put in your information you may begin to search new friends or other people that have a similar interest as you. If you put in your cell phone information you will get a txt any time someone tweets you. Tweeting is another term for instant messaging or texting.

When you start to get followers try and interact with them as often as possible because no one likes a quite owl. Be sure to only talk about interesting topics such as great shows and music because if you tell them something like what you ate for lunch they may count you as uninteresting and they may even unfollow you.
